Honoring This Amazing Woman, Ayn Rand: My Recommendations
Honoring An Amazing Woman, Ayn Rand: What I Recommend For You To Read For Your Self-Growth & Enlightenment
Ayn Rand (1905-1982) was an amazing philosopher who’s influenced and inspired me tremendously. We would be remissed not to honor and greatly appreciate her life’s work.
She escaped communist Russia to the US where, despite her inability to speak any English, has soon written a whole body of work on the independence of the human via her novels and non-fiction.
If there were books I’d recommend anyone read, I always begin with her books.
I encourage you to buy her books (click the link to the books to easily add them to your shopping cart!):
The notions of love and relationships that I’ve propagated for a while now is in complete alignment with her philosophies on love, and in fact enhances it immensely.
To love is to value. Only a rationally selfish man (or woman), a man of self esteem, is capable of love – because he is the only man capable of holding firm, consistent, uncompromising, unbetrayed values. The man who does not value himself, cannot value anything or anyone. — Ayn Rand, Virtue of Selfishness
Sidenote: whenever she says “man”, she means “the human”, rather than the gender specific expression.
Grab her books. It’ll be the greatest reads of your life. The first two are novels. The last is non fiction.
